Partnering for Vision Care

MedWish Medworks is honored to receive the Community Partner in Vision Award from longtime partner Prevent Blindness Ohio. During a February 17 People of Vision Celebration luncheon, our CEO Britta Latz and Adriana Plank, patient and client support specialist, accepted the award from Regional Director Darcy Downie on behalf of our navigation team. 

This recognition highlights our critical role in bringing vision care to medically underserved individuals and the meaningful impact our partnership is delivering for patients in our community. Over the last year, our dedicated navigators have helped connect 34 adults and 6 children to care through the Vision Care Outreach Program. These connections open the door to essential eye exams, eyeglasses, and vision services — helping patients see clearly and live more fully.
