PETER VOUDOURIS is a Partner in the Cleveland office of Tucker Ellis & West LLP. Peter has represented physicians, nurses and hospital systems in a multitude of specialties in cases ranging from brain damaged infants to wrongful death. He has been lead trial counsel in several jury verdicts throughout various counties in Northern and Eastern Ohio. While a law student at Case, Peter worked as the first law clerk at University Hospitals of Cleveland. In 2005, Peter was named an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star.
Peter continues to present to a number of professional organizations. In 1999, he joined the adjunct faculty at Case Western Reserve University School of Law teaching an advanced medical malpractice course for three years to upper level students. Since 2000, he has served as an instructor for a legal nurse consultant course run by The Ohio State University. In 2000 and 2006, Peter has been an invited guest lecturer at the International Law Institute in Kampala, Uganda, where he has taught courses on alternative dispute resolution and medical malpractice to attorneys throughout Africa.
Peter played on both the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams at Trinity College. As a member of various soccer teams, Peter has had the opportunity to play throughout North America and Europe. Married with three boys, Peter stays active by coaching a variety of his son's soccer teams and running the occasional marathon. His wife, Elizabeth, is a nonprofit consultant in Cleveland.
