Rob Namy

Rob has lived in Cleveland his entire life.  Born in 1968 he grew up in Cleveland Heights  attended Heights High School and received his BA in Urban Development from The College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University.  During the early 1990’s his career involved work in the environmental consulting business.  He worked in the environmental field at a company where he was responsible for selling and managing his own projects which consisted of environmental assessments on commercial and industrial properties, underground storage tank removals, and designing remediation plans for contaminated soil and groundwater.  His list of clients included The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, The Ohio Army National Guard, and various property owners throughout the Midwest.

In 1996 Rob joined Montlack Realty and was instrumental in identifying properties and initiated negotiations for potential purchases.  During that time period, the company achieved a 400% growth through the successful purchases of 12 buildings totaling over 700 units.  Rob also represented the company in leasing its portfolio of commercial properties. 

In 2001 Rob joined Rysar properties as the Director of Development and became responsible for negotiating contracts for the purchase of land to be developed, community notification of planned projects, and all phases of the planning process.  In addition he participated in the acquisition, lease negotiations, construction, and sale of several commercial tenants including Target and The Cleveland Clinic.

In 2001 Rob was recruited by Weston Inc. to spearhead a new acquisitions division in which he is currently responsible for locating, negotiating, purchasing, leasing, and selling large industrial facilities located in strategic locations throughout the country.  His focus is in Las Vegas, Austin, Charlotte, Charleston, and Savannah.  He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Ohio.

Throughout his adult life he has remained an active member of the Cleveland community and sits on several Boards other than MedWish including Y-Haven which is a residential drug and alcohol treatment center for homeless men and the Cleveland Area Golden Gloves Boxing Association.  He still lives in Cleveland Heights along with his wife Julie and three children Liza, Tess, and Grant.
