Lisa Beno is a Director for System Quality Initiatives at University Hospitals where she implements system-wide changes in an effort to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes.  She has been involved with Medwish for over 14 years as a volunteer, is a member of the board of directors, and now serves as the chairperson of the governance committee.  Lisa became involved with MedWish when she observed firsthand the vast amount of medical supplies that, rather than going to landfills, could be used to improve the health of people in countries lacking access to even the most rudimentary medical care.
